Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is a three-day Catholic retreat experience for all high school seniors who attend parochial or public high schools. This retreat experience is a great opportunity for real personal growth in a community of faith, love and trust. TEC retreats offer seniors a chance to take a break from their lives and reflect upon the important decisions that they naturally face at this age. The retreats are co-ed and non-Catholic students are also welcome to attend. There will be several TEC’s scheduled in the diocese throughout the 2010-2011 school year and students may attend TEC at any location.
There is a cost to attend a TEC which includes overnight accommodations, meals, and TEC materials. Registration forms and more information can be found in the Campus Ministry office, the parish youth ministry offices, or from the Archdiocese Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Registration forms must be received by the Archdiocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at least two weeks prior to the TEC retreat date the senior wishes to attend.
