Dancing with the Saints: Wes Cooling & Susie Murray

Wes Cooling is married to Kari Cooling and they have three children,  Drew (Freshman), Jack (7thgrade) and Ella (5th grade).  All three have been involved with Catholic education since kindergarten.   His wife, Kari, works at Holmes Murphy and leads out the Iowa market.   Wes is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and has been passionate about volunteering within the Xavier Catholic School system.  The summer of 2022, the Cooling family relocated to Des Moines.  While there was lots of uncertainty about the move, the one thing that was certain was the Cooling children would continue in Catholic education because of the wonderful experience they have had within the Xavier Catholic School system.

Susie has been teaching ballroom & Latin dancing for the past 20+ years.  In addition to her rigorous business management and teaching duties, she also competes with her students in Pro/Am events throughout the country. She also enjoys choreographing dances for people’s weddings and events throughout the year.
