GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Weekly Highlights: September 15, 2022

Boys & Girls Cross Country: 

Congratulations to the girl's cross country team on placing 3rd in the Oskaloosa meet on Tuesday! Next up for the cross country team is their meet at Solon. 

Boys Golf: 
Congratulations to Coach O’Brien and the golf team on placing 2nd at the Mississippi Divisional on Monday - Charlie Allen led the Saints shooting a 73! The golfers head to Waterloo West on Monday. 


Swimming:
Congratulations to the swimmers who placed first in the following events on Saturday: Maria Trotta placed 1st in the 400 Yd Free Relay. Lilly Anctil placed 1st in the 400 Yd Free Relay. Their team placed 2nd overall!

Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their meet on Tuesday: Casey Gannon placed 1st in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 100 Yd Butterfly, and the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay. Lilly Anctil placed 1st in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 500 Yd Freestyle the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay, and the 100 Yd Breaststroke. Sarah Foerster placed 1st in the 200 Yd Medley Relay. Maria Trotta placed 1st in the 50 Yd Freestyle, the 100 Yd Freestyle, the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay, and the 400 Yd Freestyle Relay. 

Volleyball

Congratulations to Coach Filer and the volleyball team on placing 2nd at the North Scott Invite on Saturday.

Congratulations to Coach Filer and the volleyball team on winning the triangular on Tuesday in West Liberty defeating both Anamosa and West Liberty 2-0.

The Saints travel to Benton Community for a tournament on Saturday.

Football:

Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the football team on their 40-7 win over Dubuque Wahlert. The Saints are 3-0 on the season and will travel to North Scott on Friday.

Marching Band

The Xavier Marching Band’s first competition is at the Linn-Mar Marching Invite on September 24th!
