As we celebrate Xavier High School’s 25th anniversary, we thought it would be fitting to check in with members of the Xavier community, some who have been there since the very beginning, to share memories and reflect on what it means to celebrate this milestone. On the 25th of each month during the 2023-2024 school year, we will be taking a look at some of the 'xceptional things Xavier alumni are doing in the world as well as take a moment to reflect on the past 25 years of Xavier High School.
Several generous supporters of the Xavier High School Foundation (Cousins, Bruce & Peggy Erusha and the Paul & Hillary Ruffalo Family) have created specific donor funds to help support students, faculty, staff, and a variety of programs and activities. We’d like to highlight a few in case you or your family would like to contribute toward one of these existing funds or have an idea for a future need.
Last year (2022-2023 fiscal year), we made history and hit our goal of raising $1 Million to support PK-12 Xavier Catholic School teachers via the Xavier Impact Fund! Read updates on our ongoing annual outreach efforts as we push toward our goal of once again reaching $1 Million for our teachers!
With Xavier's 25th anniversary, the Xavier Foundation is excited to introduce "The Twenty-Five Club" which offers special recognition for charitable gifts to our Forever Saints Day/Alumni Appeal efforts of $250 or more through June 30, 2024.
During Xavier’s Homecoming football game on October 6, 2023, we welcomed these five ‘xceptional individuals into the LaSalle-Regis-Xavier Alumni Hall of Fame: Amanda (Covington) Breeden (X04), Greg Freeman, Joey Gase (X11), Amir Hadzic, and Jim Novak (R65). A reception was hosted in the Schubert Commons for our inductees and their guests. Jim Novak was unable to join us, but we were able to present him with his award later in November. Congratulations to all five on their well-deserved Hall of Fame inductions!
