Planned Giving to Xavier High School allows you to share the blessings you have received by investing in the mission of Catholic education and making a smart and generous financial decision. It comes in many forms, from cash to securities to other assets, but shares a common attribute: It provides stability and strength to our school today, tomorrow and the future. We invite you to consider adding your home parish church and Xavier Foundation’s Heritage Society as a part of your legacy, because planned giving has a tremendous, lasting impact.
Created in 1991, the Heritage Society recognizes individuals who have included the Xavier Foundation in their estate and deferred giving plans. The Heritage Society is comprised of more than 200 generous donors who are dedicated to the development of a permanent endowment fund for Xavier High School. Members of the Heritage Society have provided planned/deferred gifts through bequests, charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities, IRA distribution funds, real estate and life insurance. These seeds are planted with love and the hope to see their gifts grow over time to ensure that we have a strong that Catholic education is available for generations to come.
Whether Xavier benefits from your planned giving or not, we encourage you to have a written plan -- by will, trust or other mechanism -- to pass along the assets that you built over a lifetime and ensure that you control how those assets are passed down. Please reach out to Mary Harken at mharken@xavierfoundation.org if you have an interest in learning more about the Heritage Society or planned giving to Xavier Foundation. In all cases we ask that you consult with your own legal, tax and/or financial adviser as you begin to finalize your giving plans.
