Dancing with the Saints: Devin Sires & Vanessa Terrell

Devin Sires and Jill have been married nearly 23 years.  They are blessed with 4 wonderful children.  Jacob and Aubrey are both at Xavier.  Emma is at Regis and Charlie is at Pius.  They are avid supporters of XCS Fine Arts and all that their kids are involved in.  Devin and his family are active members at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.  Devin is a very proud graduate and fanatic of Iowa State University.  Growing up in Cedar Rapids, he had very little exposure to Agriculture.  But that hasn’t stop him from spending his entire career entrenched in the industry.  Today he works for Land O’Lakes (yes-the butter company) as a Risk Management Consultant.   He is pumped about this opportunity to be a part of Dancing with the Saints, hoping to channel some of his past show choir glory days.

Vanessa Terrell is the owner and director of The Pointe School of Dance.  She has been sharing her passion for dance and mentorship with students for over 10 years.  Her choreography has won several “Best Choreography” and “Judges Choice” awards.  Vanessa is also the founder of The Pointe Foundation, a nonprofit scholarship fund created to help provide opportunities in dance for students with financial needs.  Outside of the studio, she is dedicated to improving the dance industry by serving as a Certified Coach for Youth Protection Advocates in Dance and More Than Just Great Dancing.  She coaches, teaches, and mentors dance educators and studio owners around the world in best practices in the classroom and in business management.  Vanessa also supports the Cedar Rapids and Marion small business community as an Ambassador with the Cedar Rapids Economic Alliance.
