Dancing with the Saints: Tami Westhoff & Cameron Byrd

Tami Westhoff and her husband Dennis have 3 children, Abbi (X19), Nate (X22) and Ella is a freshman at Xavier High School.  The couple both graduated from Dyersville Beckman Catholic High School and treasure the Catholic School system.  Dennis is a graduate from UNI and has been with Lumber Specialties in Dyersville, IA for 30 years.   Tami is graduate of Iowa State University and worked in design field for 25 years.  Recently, she has become a passionate volunteer for many duties within the Catholic School system including the Impact Fund and joining the Executive board for Xavier’s Booster club.  Tami and her family are members at St. Joseph’s parish.

Cameron Byrd has been a part of several shows in the Cultural Corridor with Theatre Cedar Rapids (TCR) and Revival Theatre Company. Cameron made his debut at TCR in the musical, “Rent,” playing the role of Tom Collins. He has also worked behind the scenes as Assistant Director at TCR. He was a part of the Jim McDonough in Holiday Grande Tour for 7 consecutive years. Cameron has danced in “Hairspray,” “Legally Blond,” “Guys and Dolls,”“Dream Girls” (Marty), “Pippin” (Manson Trio, Player), and “Parade” (Newt). His proudest moment was being accepted into the BFA program from Musical Theatre at Minnesota State Mankato. Cameron is ecstatic to be a part of such an amazing event. “Thank you God for allowing me to do what I love!”
